The Nitro 5 comes with a 15.6-inch display or a 17.3-inch display option, with an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Much like the Nitro 7, the exact CPU and GPU options are not specified. We just know that it will feature an Intel 9th Gen processor and an Nvidia GPU. The Nitro 5 also supports the same amount of RAM and comes with slots for M.2 SSD upgrades.

Both Nitro laptops feature a dual-fan cooling design and two exhaust ports. The CoolBoost fan profile can be activated to increase fan speeds by an extra 10 percent if you are concerned about CPU or GPU temperatures. Both laptops also support Killer Ethernet E2500 or Acer’s own Network Optimiser tool so you can prioritise traffic to reduce ping for multiplayer gaming.

Both laptops also come with a range of speaker EQ options, so you can boost dialogue, increase bass or just boost overall volume.
