Apple Music vs Spotify according to the American edition of The Wall Street Journal analyzed information on the number of users of Apple Music and Spotify services at the end of February of this year.

Meanwhile, as for the United States, then the number of paying customers of the Apple service is 28 million, while Spotify has 26 million, while Apple Music appeared in the country a year later than its competitor. If you look at the global statistics, the situation is the opposite: Spotify has 95 million subscriptions, while the Apple product has almost half as many – 50 million.

The growth rates of companies are also different: 2.6-3% of new listeners per month from Apple against 1.5-2% from Spotify.

Earlier, Spotify complained about the main competitor to the European Commission. In addition, it became known that Spotify will appear in Russia this summer.
