Analyst Samik Chatterj of finance company JP Morgan claims that starting in 2021, Apple will release smartphones twice a year. To better compete with the flagships of Android, two devices in the first half and two devices in the second half of the year can be released.
Chatterj also talked about the upcoming 2020 release. According to him, it is worth waiting for four, not three devices, as most leaks say. All models will have OLED screens and modems for working in fifth-generation networks.
“Budget” models of 2020 will receive dual main cameras and displays with a diagonal of 5.8 and 6.1 inches. Top models will be equipped with triple cameras with a sensor for 3D scanning of the surrounding space. The diagonal of the screens will be 6.1 and 6.8 inches, also smartphones will have mmWave frequencies support for 5G operation.
Starting with the iPhone 4S, Apple will present a new generation of smartphones in the fall, September or October.
