We are try to cut out the Difference between MiFi and WiFi, you might be wondering what is the difference between the WiFi and MiFi. The answer is quite simple and comprehensive. The first thing you should know is that, MiFi is a 3G or 4G portable battery-powered router.

Now the MiFi is actually an internet device that has WiFi built in to it, while WiFi is a wireless networking standard. Smartphones out there can be used for mobile hotspot, rendering the MiFi dongle useless but the fact remains that, the mobile with its hotspot can be compromised and will slow down the internet connection during calls.

Due to the facts that MiFi consist of two different part and support 3G or 4G LTE, MiFi device can pick up mobile data from your telecom provider and the other parts includes the modem and the WiFi router.

– Part 1 is Modem; It supports 3G or 4G LTE and provides connectivity to next generation wireless devices
– Part 2 is the WiFi router; It takes care of providing WiFi connectivity.
