Gmail turns 15 years old…
The current report disclosed as yesterday, April 1, Gmail’s email turns 15 years old. In honor of the anniversary, Google introduced new features for the service: AMP technology , smart answers and sending emails on a timer.
Profiting value, it’s clear now, to send a letter later, it is not necessary to wait for the desired hour – the message can be assigned to a timer, and Gmail will automatically send it at the selected time. This can be useful if the other person lives in a different time zone.
Google also introduced the Smart Compose smart response system, which recognizes standard phrases in letters and remembers how the user accesses a specific recipient. For example, at the beginning of the letter, the technology will offer to write the first phrase “hello” or “yo”, depending on preferences.
Smart Compose was previously tested on the mobile version of Gmail for Android, now the function is available to everyone. Currently five languages are recognized: English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
