The Automatic Dark Theme for Android 10 application allows you to configure the automatic switching of the dark and light skins of the Android 10 interface depending on the current time.
In the settings, you can choose the time at which the application will switch the design to light and dark. An additional option is to change the theme only while the smartphone is locked, so as not to suddenly restart the interface while working with the device.
To install Automatic Dark Theme for Android 10, you need a computer and the ADB package (Android Debug Bridge) on it. After connecting the smartphone with Android 10 on board to the computer, you will need to open on the last command line in the folder where the ADB is unpacked.
At the Windows 10 command prompt, you will need to enter this command:
adb shell pm grant com.cannic.apps.automaticdarktheme android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
For macOS Terminal, the command is different:
./adb shell pm grant com.cannic.apps.automaticdarktheme android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
Using ADB does not affect the warranty of the smartphone, but using the tool only at the user’s own risk.
The app is available for free on Google Play for downloading.
