The next generation iPhone – the iPhone 12 – have already started doing rounds on the internet. Now a new report suggests that the iPhone 12 will come with a higher RAM capacity than its predecessor.
Apple doesn’t reveal RAM capacity of its iPhones. However, teardown of its latest iPhone 11 series smartphones reveal that this year’s iPhones come with 4GB RAM. iPhones will come with a rear-facing 3D sensing camera and feature support for mm Wave “for higher-performance 5G”.
The report, however, did not reveal if the 2012 iPhones will feature support for 5G technology.
The report besides talking about the iPhone 12 series smartphones also talked about the iPhone SE 2, which is expected to succeed the company’s budget iPhone SE. Reports in the past have indicated that the iPhone SE 2 will come with a design that resembles the iPhone 8 with a faster A13 chip. It is expected to come with a 4.7-inch screen, 3GB RAM and Touch ID instead of the Face ID. Reports have also hinted that the company could launch the device in the first quarter of 2020.
Now, the report by Barclays analyst suggests that Apple will begin the production of the rumoured iPhone SE 2 in February. It is worth noting that Apple hasn’t confirmed any of these details yet.
