Previously, the company tested the development of the Project Stream project, which allowed Chrome users to stream games in their browser. The first such game was Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Stadia offers instant access to the game, without having to download or install something. Games will be for laptops, desktops, televisions, tablets and phones.
At the presentation, Google showed how easy it is to change devices during the game. The picture at the same time is smooth, without slowdowns. The technology works on Linux and Vulcan. In the future, promise support 8K-permissions.
One of the first games of the service will be Doom: Eternal , which can be run at up to 60 fps and on devices with 4K resolution.
Especially for the Stadia service, the company released a controller in three colors , which allows you to broadcast the game on the channel to YouTube, as well as use the Assistant during the game.
