Microsoft in its Twitter posted a video, where it introduced a “completely new” Windows 1.0 and promised to share the details “very soon.”

The video shows all Windows logos that have been used for many years. The last of these was the Windows 1.0 icon – now you can see it in almost all corporate social networks. In addition, in the official Instagram account , all entries have been deleted, except for the announcement of Windows 1.0.

Microsoft has not yet given any explanation of what it is. Probably, the company plans to publish an open source operating system, as has already been done for MS-DOS and Calculator . Another suggestion is that the teaser for Windows 1.0 may be associated with the debut of the third season of the series “Very strange things” , which will be held on July 4.

The company’s first graphical user interface was released on November 20, 1985 – the third season of the original Netflix show takes place that same year. Well-known brands H & M, Nike and Schwinn, which have released limited versions of shoes, bicycles and t-shirts with the theme of the series, have already joined the advertising for “Very strange cases”
