Rambler Group announced the settlement of claims against the Twitch streaming platform. On December 15, it became known that the holding filed a lawsuit because of pirated broadcasts on Twitch of the English Premier League football matches, the rights to display in Russia owned by Rambler.
Representatives of the companies held negotiations, as a result of which the Rambler Group withdraws the claim and refuses the claim for compensation in the amount of 180 billion rubles. Twitch provides tools to combat pirated broadcasts.

Rambler Group demanded to pay not only record-breaking compensation for the industry, but also to block Twitch in Russia. Earlier, the Russian holding was at the center of the scandal with claims for rights to the Nginx web server.
