Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, has released a new TV for the Chinese market. This is one of the cheapest models in the assortment of the company.
The TV has a 40-inch matrix with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Two speakers with an output of 8 W each and supporting DTS 2.0 and Dolby Audio technologies are responsible for audio.
The TV uses the Amlogic chipset with four Cortex-A53 cores and a clock frequency of up to 1.4 GHz in combination with the Mali-450 MP2 GPU. There is 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. The proprietary software shell is Android-based PatchWall.
Among the available ports are two HDMI, Ethernet, USB AV, DTMB. Connection to the network can be carried out via Wi-Fi 802.11n.
