Samsung Galaxy Note 10: the lack of physical buttons and headphone jack… Edition Android Police from the words of an anonymous source familiar with the plans of Samsung, shared new information about the upcoming flagship of the South Korean company. So,  Galaxy Note 10 for the first time from the entire line may lose its physical buttons and headphone jack.

Meanwhile, Samsung used the 3.5 mm jack in their smartphones longer than Apple and Google. Having lost this “chip”, in the next Note 10 there will be only USB-C – the only port for power and other Samsung functions, such as DeX.

According to the source, the company will explain the removal of the socket with the necessary step to increase the battery capacity, as well as reduce the complexity of the design and increase resistance to dust and liquid penetration. This may allow Samsung to create a thinner and lighter smartphone design.

More interesting is the rejection of physical buttons, specifically the volume, power, and to call the Bixby assistant. In the flagship they will be replaced with sensory areas on the sides.

Supposedly, the Galaxy Note 10 will be presented this year in four versions , two of which with the support of fifth-generation networks. The diagonal displays will be 6.28 “and 6.75”, and the main cameras with three and four sensors, respectively. The presentation is expected in early August.
