Hardware specs wise, the Samsung Galaxy S20 plus isn’t much of an upgrade over the standard Samsung Galaxy S20. The major difference here is a bigger battery.
The Global version of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus ships with an Octa-core Exynos 990 processor and a Adreno 650 GPU, while the USA version ships with an Octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor.
All countries get 12 gigs of RAM, storage options that include 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, with option for storage expansion via Micro-SD.
The android phone houses a non-removable 4500mAh battery. It has support for 25W wired fast charging, 15W fast wireless charging, and 9W reverse charging.
On the software side, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus runs the One UI 2 on top of the Android 10 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5G features a USB Type C (USB 3.2) port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.
Despite the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus was introduced as a 5G enabled device, there will be 4G only models in some countries. Models up for pre-order in South Africa and India are reported to be 4G only.
