Base on report trending, while Samsung still has a long way to go before catching up with Apple in terms of global smartwatch popularity, one recent market report showed the company was able to boost the shipment figures of its wearable devices by more than 100 percent year-on-year during the final quarter of 2018. That must have a lot to do with an increasingly diverse product portfolio including plenty of models delivering excellent bang for the consumer’s buck.

The latest such device is a $200 Galaxy Watch Active, but before pulling the trigger, you may want to consider several other Samsung wearables currently discounted on the company’s official US website. The “regular”, stylish, and feature-packed Galaxy Watch is at the top of the bargain list, fetching $279.99 instead of a $329.99 typical price in a 42 mm size and rose gold color or $299.99 (down from $349.99) with a 46 mm case coated in silver.
That’s if you can settle for a Bluetooth-only Apple Watch rival, whereas LTE-enabled variants are available at $349.99 and $369.99 in rose gold and silver respectively, down from $379.99 and $399.99 list prices. In other words, you’re looking at saving 30 bucks on cellular-capable models or $50 with just Bluetooth connectivity in tow.
Naturally, bigger discounts are up for grabs as far as the older Gear Sport and Gear S3 are concerned. Namely, the sporty smartwatch released in 2017 can be purchased at $199.99 compared to its $279.99 regular price, while the even older but still powerful and popular Gear S3 Classic and Frontier go for $199.99 and $229.99 after $100 and $70 markdowns respectively.
Last but not least, both small and large sizes of the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro activity tracker are on sale in exchange for $149.99, representing $50 off list.
Across the board, these are not exactly earth-shattering or even never-before-seen discounts, but they certainly make up the most extensive wearable sale offered directly by Samsung on brand-new units in quite some time.
