Despite the fact that the iOS 13 release will take place next week, a serious vulnerability has already been found in it, which allows you to bypass the smartphone lock and gain access to all iPhone contacts. The exploit was discovered in the pre-release version of iOS 13 Gold Master (GM).
From the lock screen, you can start a FaceTime call, and then activate access to contacts through Siri voice assistant and VoiceOver. From there, you can view email addresses and other user data in the phone book.
However, you won’t be able to fully unlock your iPhone in this way.
The vulnerability finder said that it will be fixed in the next version of iOS with an index of 13.1 , which will be released on September 30.
