It is no news that Xiaomi makes smart TVs. The manufacturer’s Mi TV line is sold in various markets, including India where it has the largest market share. Last year, Xiaomi entered into the premium smart TV market when it announced the Mi TV 5 Pro series lat year. The Mi TV 5 Pro series packs a quantum dot QLED display, support for 8K decoding and more.
Announced in three sizes – 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch -, the Mi TV 5 will be getting a new screen size tomorrow according to a teaser posted on Weibo today.
There are speculations the new screen size is 100-inches which will make it Xiaomi’s biggest TV ever.
The specs are expected to remain the same as that of the other screen sizes. So it should have 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, an Amlogic T972 chipset, 8K video decoding, HDR10+, Dolby Audio, and Xiaomi’s PatchWall system. The 75-inch version sells for ¥9999 (~$1442), so expect the 100-inch model to sell for even more.
